IPv6 Performance and Diagnostic Metrics (PDM) Destination Option Implementation- RFC 8250 (Beta)

A DNS request is sent, to ask for the IP address associated with a domain name. An attempt to reach a domain, is actually a DNS client querying the DNS servers to get the IP address, related to that domain.

Select an Anchor
  • Select an Anchor from the map.
  • Anchors with PDM integration are marked in green.
  • Click on a green marker to open details.
  • Ensure the selected anchor is active and available by seeing an Execute button.

Run A Query
  • Select a Domain from the available options.
  • Can't find domain? Add a new one.
  • Newly added domains will be saved.
  • Select Query Type.
  • Click on "Execute" button.

Report Generation
  • You will be prompted to a new window displaying all results.
  • Click See Report to generate the report.
